I’m Skye Hamilton aka the “Hydrangea Queen.” Hopelessly in love with hydrangeas, I am a self-taught “backyard gardener” with the attention span of a gnat. If I’m not having fun with making content, you’re not going to have fun watching it. My goal is to pack as much information as I can into manageable, bite size pieces, that are as informative as they are entertaining.

HOW IT ALL STARTED
Hopelessly in love with hydrangeas, gardening, cut flowers, home and holiday design.
We bought an old farmhouse in 2015, and immediately set about renovating it, surrounding it with hydrangeas, and generally just making it our forever home. I love classic American style, southern, traditional elements, but always with a casual PNW feel. I can’t deal with over complicated, so if that’s your vibe, you’ve come to the right place. Welcome!

NO. 1
I have an eclectic background, which is a big part of WHO I am and why I am comfortable being my spontaneous, imperfect authentic self. I was a combat medic in the army for 7 years. I’m the oldest of four kids. I have ADHD and I’m comfortable sharing that experience with others. I hate cooking, but LOVE entertaining!
NO. 2
Speaking of entertaining! It is a bit of an obsession - I have EIGHT sets of fine china, 20+ napkin sets and 12 charger sets. I LOVE a great tablescape.
NO. 3
I thrive on FIGURING IT OUT. I installed all the electrical in our house, and built and installed our kitchen cabinets.
